The surgeon will perform a series of drillings under irrigation. Once that is done, the implant will be screwed in. We will then put the gum back in place with two stitches and check the wound.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of posterior implants, you will leave the office with a small protective screw on the implant, which will be level with your gum. For aesthetic implants, we will most often place a prosthesis with immediate loading.<\/p>\n<p>This procedure is simple and quick, taking about 20 minutes for one implant.
