Z\u00e4hne. Die beiden h\u00e4ufigsten Formen sind Gingivitis und Parodontitis.<\/p>\n<h5>Gingivitis<\/h5>\n<p>Gingivitis ist das Anfangsstadium parodontaler Erkrankungen. Bei einer Gingivitis ist das Zahnfleisch ger\u00f6tet, geschwollen und blutet sehr leicht beim Z\u00e4hneputzen. Wenn eine Gingivitis nicht behandelt wird, kann sie sich zu einer Parodontitis entwickeln und zu einem irreversiblen Verlust der st\u00fctzenden Gewebe der Z\u00e4hne f\u00fchren: des Knochens, des parodontalen Halteapparats und des Zahnfleischgewebes.<\/p>\n<h5>Parodontitis<\/h5>\n<p>Parodontitis ist eine durch Bakterien ausgel\u00f6ste Entz\u00fcndungserkrankung. Bei empfindlichen Personen f\u00fchrt diese Entz\u00fcndung zu einem Knochenabbau um die Z\u00e4hne. Das Zahnfleisch l\u00f6st sich von den Z\u00e4hnen, es bilden sich Zahnfleischtaschen, in denen sich die Infektion ausbreitet. Sie k\u00f6nnen Zahnfleischbluten beim Z\u00e4hneputzen bemerken \u2013 eines der ersten Anzeichen.<\/p>\n<p>Ihr Zahnfleisch kann ger\u00f6tet und geschwollen erscheinen, und es kann sich bakterieller Zahnbelag auf den Z\u00e4hnen bilden. Wenn eine Gingivitis nicht behandelt wird, kann sie sich zu einer Parodontitis entwickeln \u2013 oft ohne deutliche Warnzeichen.<\/p>\n<h5>Anzeichen und Symptome<\/h5>\n<p>Mit der Zeit k\u00f6nnen jedoch folgende Ver\u00e4nderungen auftreten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zunehmendes Zahnfleischbluten, ausgel\u00f6st durch Z\u00e4hneputzen, Essen oder sogar spontan<\/li>\n<li>Mundgeruch<\/li>\n<li>Verschiebung der Zahnstellung im Kiefer<\/li>\n<li>Zahnverl\u00e4ngerung durch Zahnfleischr\u00fcckgang<\/li>\n<li>Manchmal Schmerzen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Raucher k\u00f6nnen aufgrund der Wirkung von Nikotin auf die Blutgef\u00e4\u00dfe weniger Zahnfleischbluten bemerken \u2013 das kann den Krankheitsverlauf verschleiern.<\/p>\n<h5>Fr\u00fcherkennung<\/h5>\n<p>Oft wird eine Parodontitis erst im Alter von 40 oder 50 Jahren erkannt \u2013 wenn bereits erhebliche Sch\u00e4den vorhanden sein k\u00f6nnen.
